Do you really own the stuff you buy? My latest collaboration with TED-Ed explores this topic, specifically the right to repair. Increasingly manufacturers are making it difficult, if not impossible, to repair products, resulting in us chucking things away and buying new. Though the reasons for this might seem obvious, it is no less cynical. So what can we do about it? Watch the film here.

The script was written by professor of law, Aaron Perzanowski, and I brought it to life using Adobe Animate. TED-Ed scripts are always a delight to work with, not just because of the diversity of subject matter, but because of their dedication to thorough research and a commitment to the truth. In a time when the Internet is seen as a source of misinformation, TED-Ed seek to change the narrative, and it is an honour to continue being a part of this. Long may they continue to put out thought-provoking, factual films.

This was the latest in a long line of animations for TED-Ed across a broad range of subjects, from Solar Storms to Life on Mars. A year ago I put together a showreel of the films we have made together since 2015, now totalling 15 unique works.
