Roosevelt Skerrit – Prime Minister of Dominica

The death in office of Pierre Charles, Prime Minister of Dominica, in 2004, ushered in the premiership of the fantastically named Roosevelt Skerrit, who at the time was the world’s youngest head of government. This handy chart from The Economist now ranks him 3rd behind Andry Rajoelina, President of Madagascar, and Kim Jong Un heir presumptive to North Korea, should the ill in Kim Jong-il take a turn for the worse.
For the time being, that makes him the youngest world leader joining this lot.
