Emanuel “Manny” Mori – President of the Federated States of Micronesia
Despite sounding like a disease of the smalls, Micronesia is in fact an Oceanic subregion consisting of 1000s of small islands. The Federated States of Micronesia are an island nation comprised of over 600 of these islands. Their president is Emanuel Mori, but we can call him Manny, and here he is in his underpants.
Manny Mori is a former banker, and he would be able to tell you that Micronesians do not trade in shells and trinkets, as might be expected, but in the US dollar. Their primary source of revenue is assistance from the US government, in return for which the US has the right to set up and operate military bases on these Western Pacific islands.
Manny now joins fellow Micronesian, Jurelang Zedkaia, President and Iroijlaplap of the Marshall Islands and all the other World Leaders in Underpants who have educated us so generously over the year.
