Mahmoud Abbas – President of Palestine
World Leaders in Their Underpants is taking the unprecedented step of pre-empting Ban Ki-moon‘s response to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ application for full membership of the UN by inducting him into the most exclusive society of trouser free diplomacy. Once there, Netanyahu, Ki-moon and Abbas can put aside their differences along with their oppressive leg-wear, and reach a peaceful accord whereby the states of Palestine and Israel can co-exist peacefully.
Of course, full membership of the UN is not a pre-requisite for inclusion in World Leaders in Their Underpants. Heads of such partially recognised states as Abkhazia, Kosovo, Nagorno-Karabakh and even Scotland have already dis-robed in the interests of world peace.
Indeed, sixty-five heads of state have now joined World Leaders in Their Underpants and not a single fight has broken out. We hope that Mahmoud Abbas will be made warmly welcome as he allows the breeze of freedom to tickle his knees. And good luck with your application.
